To gain the maximum value from MyBigSky, members abide by the following principles:

Principles of Commitment

  • Participate in all scheduled group meetings contributing my skills and knowledge accordingly. A 90 minute, one-to-one* meeting with my Group Leader between each group meeting. Keeping confidential all issues discussed amongst members and our Group Leader.
  • Arriving at all meetings on time and staying until the meeting ends.
  • Not being disturbed during group and one-to-one meetings, unless there is a real emergency.
  • Participating fully in the speaker session, the executive session, the one-to-one meeting and networking activities. Being open and honest whilst participating and being helpful and effective to fellow members.
  • Being candid in the evaluation of speakers, the executive sessions and one-to-one meetings.
  • Being supportive in recruiting new members to the group by nominating referrals, attending marketing events or in any other way determined by the group and/or our Group Leader.
  • Hosting group meetings in rotation with fellow members. Paying subscriptions quarterly in advance by the due date.
  • Giving 90 days written notice should I be unable to continue as a regular member (not required during the first 6 months).
